Crankshaft Rear Seal Removal

With the flywheel housing removed, use a drift
and hammer to remove the old seal from the
crankshaft bore in the housing.

To simplify the reassembly process, avoid rotating
the engine or timing gears while performing
timing gear removal and reinstallation.
CRANKSHAFT GEAR AND IDLER GEARSET
REMOVAL
1. Remove the two Allen-head screws that
secure the gear to the crankshaft flange.
2. Using a suitable puller, remove the
crankshaft gear.
