7.1.3 Tilting and lowering the driver's cab
Some maintenance tasks on the engine and the transmission require that
the driver's cab be tilted forwards using a hydraulic hand pump.
Safety instruc-
tions
The driver's cab is tilted using a hydraulic hand pump (1).
• You can find information on how to operate the hand pump in the operat-
ing manual
. Make sure you observe the safety instructions mentioned
there;

• Open the front flap; à p. 7 - 2.
Oil, tools
– Oil level: Lower edge of opening (2). Check every 12 months.
– Refilling: When required via
the opening (2).
– Lever (spanner size 30 mm) for hand pump (1) from the toolbox.
Before maintenance work
• Tilt the driver's cab; à Operating

After maintenance work
• Lower the driver's cab; à Operating

• Check that the lamp (1) on the CCS control unit has gone out – the driver's
cab is then locked.
