The array is now ready to be flown to its final position but it is worth discovering the array using Vu-Net and running a system
check as described in the U-Net chapter to ensure that every cell is working before flying the array to the correct trim.
Ground Stacking MLA Compact
MLA Compact can be easily ground stacked using the standard flying grid in a similar way to its big brother MLA. The first step is
to prepare the flying grid. At the front you will find the locating brackets which in normal flying use are in a stowed position
facing forward. The flying pin securing them needs to be removed. The bracket is hinged on a slot so it can be pulled out, rotated
90⁰ upwards and lowered until the shoulders of the brackets are resting on the top of the frame. It must then be pinned in place;-
