Longer-Term Storage:
If unit is to be stored under adverse conditions or for
extended periods of time, take the following additional
precautions to prevent damage.
• Store blower in a clean, dry, heate
d (if possible) area.
• Ensure inlet and discharge air ports are tightly covered to
prevent foreign material from entering.
• Protect all exposed, non-painted surfaces against rust and corrosion.
• Provide adequate protection to avoi
d accidental mechanical damage.
• With blower operating, inject a rust inhibitor through the vacuum re
lief valve on the inlet side of blower to
prevent internal rusting.
• To prevent rusting of gears, bearings, and
other components, oil tank may be filled with normal operating oil.
NOTICE: Befo
re running the blower, change blower oil.
