7. Unscrew (counterclockwise) stainless conduit from til-
ler handle.

8. Pull throttle cable from tiller handle.

9. Remove cover plate and gasket from tiller handle.
10. Remove bolt from throttle friction assembly.

11. Remove throttle arm, gear assembly and friction de-
vice from tiller handle. Slide gear cover and friction de-
vice off of the throttle arm.
