In Case of Trouble
SYSTEM HALT
Error message Cause Corrective measure
The type of the loaded ink cartridge is
different from the previous one.
• Check the type of the loaded ink
cartridge.
Remaining ink in the ink cartridge is
short.
• Replace the ink cartridge with new
one. ( P.4-3)
Settings for functions have been tried
to be changed though there remains
received data that has not yet been
printed.
• Print all pieces of received data or
execute the data clear function. Then,
change the settings.
( P.2-11 , P.3-7)
Ink is not filled up.
• Execute ink filling. ( P.2-4 )
Ink set has not been changed.
• Select the ink set other than the
current one.
The cartridge that matches the ink set
is not inserted into the proper position.
• Insert it into the proper position.
Error message Corrective measure
Turn off the main power to the machine and turn it on after a while.
If the same error message appears again, check the number and contact your local
distributor to call for service. (“000” is the error No.)
• If SYSTEM HALT507 is displayed, check the gap pin on the left side of the carriage. If there is ink there,
the device may recover if the ink stain is removed.
