For Safe Operation
x
If an ink bottle is moved from a cold place to a warmer place, let it sit for at least three hours before use.
Open the ink bottle just before use and use it up as soon as possible. If the bottles are left open for a long
time, the printing quality may degrade.
For device protection, do not use any ink other than the dedicated ink.
Do not knock the ink bottle hard or shake it violently. This can cause the ink to leak from the bottle.
l
Be Careful with Moving Parts
Keep your fingers and other body parts away from hazardous moving parts. There is a risk of injury.
l
Warning Labels
Warning labels are affixed to this machine. Fully understand the contents of the warning labels. If a
warning label becomes illegible due to dirt or peels off, purchase a new one from your local distributor or
our sales office.
l
Ultraviolet Rays (UV), UV-LED
The LED UV unit is extremely hot. Turn off the LED UV unit and perform maintenance once the device
cools down adequately. Otherwise, you may burn yourself.
Some UV rays may leak from the circumference of the LED UV unit. Wear gloves, long-sleeved clothes,
light-shielding masks, light-shielding glasses, etc. to protect your skin and eyes from UV exposure.
(1) Exposure of skin or eyes to UV rays can cause inflammation or skin cancer.
(2) Even if the UV light is weak and not likely to cause inflammation, repeated exposure to it may result in a chronic
disease.
(3) Viewing the light from the lamp with the naked eye can cause eye pain or impaired vision.
(4) UV rays can cause damage to your eyes.
Acute impairment: sensation of having a foreign body in the eye, pain, flowing tears
Chronic impairment: cataract, etc.
Never look directly at the light emitted from the LED UV unit with the naked eye. This can cause eye pain
or impaired vision. Be sure to wear the included safety glasses.
Do not directly expose your skin to ultraviolet (UV) rays. This can cause skin inflammation.
Contact of flammables with high temperature parts such as the LED UV unit may cause ignition or smoke.
Also, leaving flammable items under the LED UV unit for several seconds may cause ignition or smoke.
The glass on the underside of the LED UV unit must be handled with the provided gloves. Please do not
touch it with bare hands. Doing so may significantly degrade UV curing. If it gets dirty, wipe it using a clean
gauze moistened with ethanol. (Do not wipe the outer cover with ethanol. This can cause the paint to come
off.)
