Installing this Machine
Installation Environment
• Do not use in a dusty place. It may lead to problems in the printer or poor printing.
• For stable printing, use this machine in an environment with a temperature in the range of +15 ℃ to +30
℃ (59°F to 86°F) and Rh in the range of 35 to 65%.
Where to Install This Machine
Secure a suitable installation space before assembling this machine.
The place of installation must have enough space for not only this machine itself, but also for the printing
operation.

• A service engineer will perform installation work of this machine. At this time, he/she will contact you and
explain about the usage and the installation of this machine.

• If you usually use photographic fixers, refrain from installing this machine in a room filled with the steam of
photographic fixers. If this machine is installed in a room filled with photographic fixers, the ink adhering to
the head solidifies and the image quality degrades no matter how many times the head is cleaned, or the
nozzles may get clogged.
• Apart from photographic mixers, the same problem occurs if you keep this machine in an environment
where acidic steam (acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.) is generated.
