Turning the power on

Press the power button.
• Press the power button located on the left side of the operation panel.

• When the power is turned on, the firmware version is displayed.

• Initialize the printer.

The machine enters the LOCAL mode.

Turn on the power of the connected PC.
• You should normally leave the machine power cord plugged into the power outlet. Keeping the power cord
unplugged may clog the head nozzle. Depending on the symptoms, it might be difficult to remedy the fault.
Turning off the power
Once you have finished using the printer, press the power button located at the front side of this machine to
turn the power off.
Before turning off the power, check if:
• Data is being received from the PC and if any data is still to be output.
• The head has returned to the capping station.
• Any error has occurred.
