Wipe off the ink adhering to the bottom of the cap with the wiping filter.

Keep the bottle in an upright position and remove any ink adhering to the cap surface by
using a disposable wipe such as KimWipe.

Remove the cap from the used ink bottle.
• If the cap is hard to remove, use the fastening jig to remove it.

Set a new ink bottle.

• Do not leave the ink bottle with the specialized cap attached in a location where it is exposed to light
for a long period of time. Doing so may cause the ink inside the bottle to harden.

When [INK NEAR END] is displayed
It indicates that only a small amount of ink is remaining. Even though you can continue to print in this
condition, note that the ink may finish completely before you finish your printing job. We recommend that you
replace the ink bottles as soon as possible.
When the [ENTER] key is pressed in LOCAL, the bottle to be replaced can be checked from the local
