2.3.1 Front View
(1) Alarm indicator
When a physiological alarm or a technical alarm occurs, this indicator will flash as
defined below.
 High priority alarm: the lamp quickly flashes red.
 Medium priority alarm: the lamp slowly flashes yellow.
 Low priority alarm: the lamp is yellow without flashing.

(3) Temperature module and base
The monitor can be configured with any one of the following modules.
 SmarTemp
TM
module: measures predictive temperature.
 THP79JU module: measures ear temperature.
 Genius
TM
2 module: measures tympatic tempearature.
The temperature module varies in appearance. The above figure shows the main unit
with the SmarTemp
TM
module.
(4) AC power indicator
 On: indicates that the monitor is connected to the AC power.
 Off: indicates that the monitor is not connected to the AC power.
