4.7 Head Setup 2.
Figure 67
Setup 2 Head 1: Setup 2 Head 1 page.
Access: From Setup1 Head1 Page with key F7. (only with acc. position)
Use: With accumulator position it is possible to activate the parison length control. Comparison
between photocell signal and programmed point.
At photocell signal, the currently issued point is detected and compared with a reference value. The difference
between the two values (in points) is the error. If the error is lower than Minimum error, no correction is made. If
the error is greater than Maximum error it is possible to decide whether making the maximum correction or making
no correction at all. If the error is between minimum and maximum a proportional correction is calculated. The
correction is made by changing the additional weight value on the regulator (Trim). A single photocell drives all the
regulators.
4.7.1 Control length parameters.
Control length profile (Only with accumulator position): Enable
the length control on the profile.
Point for control: Set the reference point for the control.
Maximum error: Maximum allowed error calculated between the
programmed point and the point triggered by the photocell signal.
Minimum error: Minimum allowed error.
Maximum correction: correction to be applied if the calculated error is greater of the maximum allowed error.
Correction type: no correction or maximum correction if the error is greater of the maximum allowed error.
When the error is smaller than the Minimum error no correction is made. When the error is included between the
Minimum error and the Maximum error the correction is proportioned to the Maximum correction.
