3.4. Choosing a suitable site
The following conditions must be followed for a proper functioning of the equipment:
1. This Equipment must be installed under protection of an UPS.
2. The Switch is accessible and that cables and the power cord can be connected easily.
3. Water or moisture cannot enter the case of the WGS5000.
4. Airflow is not restricted around the WGS5000 or through the vents in the back of the
Switch. Nonius recommends that you provide a minimum of 25 mm (1 in.) clearance.
5. Air temperature around the WGS5000 does not exceed 60 °C (140 °F).
3.5. Rack Installation
The best possible installation place for the WGS5000 is on a shelf installed on a communication‟s
rack. The following picture shows a proper installation of the equipment.
