26.1 COM.PAR Enter COMMUNICATION PARAMETERS SUBMENU:
Allows the user to adjust and modify Serial Communication Parameters settings of the instrument.
When connecting an instrument to a computer or other device, the communication parameters must
match with each other. Generally the default settings should be utilized.
bAUd
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 4) Display shows " bAUd" Baud Rate setting submenu. If necessary to
select other available following submenus: "PARIty", "StOP", use or
press
the ‘MENU’ button.
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 5) Display flashes "009600" (default) or previous setting of baud rate.
Press ‘䊱/MAX’ 6) Scroll through the available following baud rate: "000300", "000600",
"001200", "002400", "004800", "009600" and "019200"
for your desired
setting.
PARIty
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 7) Display shows "StOREd" stored message momentarily and then
advances to the "PARIty" Parity setting submenu.
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 8) Display flashes "_Odd" Odd (default) option or previous setting.
Press ‘䊱/MAX’ 9) Scroll through the following available options: "_Odd", "NONE" and
"EVEN" for your desired setting.
StOP
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 10) Display shows "StOREd" stored message momentarily and then
advances to the "StOP" Stop Bit setting submenu.
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 11) Display flashes "1b It" 1-Bit or previous setting.
Press ‘䊱/MAX’ 12) Scroll through and select 2 available following options: "1b It" (1-Bit) or
"2b It"(2-Bit).
Press ‘RESET/ENTER’ 13) Display shows "StOREd" stored message momentarily and then
advances to the "bUS.FMt" Bus Format submenu.
