Query Event Log

1. The event log maybe entered using one of two methods:
•
MENU in the playback mode: Select the Event Search.
• ALARM : Displays the event log, except during alarm activation, and functions as an alarm
reset during alarm activation.
2. Event log window appears.
3. Go the previous or next event log using the up/down-arrow buttons.
4. Select the target event log using the up/down-arrow buttons, and press
ENTER to display
the image of that event. Press SEARCH to return to the Live mode of operation.
5. Pressing the Query button provides the following search filters:
• Move to the Search By field, and select either Event or Camera.
• Move the From/To field, and set the starting and ending time.
• Select the target events.
• When selecting the Text-In, a transaction number can be entered in the TR field using the
software keyboard.
6. Press the Search button to display search results. Return to step 4 to select target event
and view the search image.

Control System via RS232 Port

1. Move to the RS232 field, and select Remote Controller.
2. Set up the port communication for the remote controller.
NOTE: If the networking is configured by the external modem, the message that the
remote controller cannot be used will be displayed when selecting Remote Controller
as the port use in the RS232 field. Move to the Network setup, and change the
networking type from the external modem to LAN or the internal modem first, and then
try again. Please contact your dealer/installer for the protocol information for remote
controller connection.
