4.11 Parameterization memory and Internet Explorer
To delete files or store user-specific files on the internal parameterization memory, proceed
as follows:
Switch to the bus configuration workspace in PC Worx.
Select the controller, e.g., “AXC 3050”, in the “Bus Structure” window.
Select the “Extended Settings” tab in the “Device Details” window.
Select the communication interface between the PC and the AXC 3050.
Open Internet Explorer from this window by clicking on the “Open FTP Folder on De-
vice” button.

The FTP functionality must be activated in Internet Explorer. See Section “Internet Explor-
er FTP functionality” on page 80.
User administration – limiting access to the parameterization memory
You can limit access to the parameterization memory by using the firmware service, which
is sent from PC Worx to the AXC 3050. Read further details in Section “User administra-
tion – limiting access to the parameterization memory” on page 95.
Access to the parameterization memory via the X6 USB interface
Alternatively, for FTP access via the X3 Ethernet interface, which is illustrated in this sec-
tion, you can access the parameterization memory with Windows or Internet Explorer by
entering the address "ftp://128.0.0.1” as well as via the X6 USB interface (Figure 5-12 on
page 108).
