5. Lay crankshaft into the lower case half. Make
sure that the crankshaft rotates smoothly and
does not bind. Rotate the bearings so that the
anti-rotation pins rest in their appropriate
galleries.
NOTE: Lubricate the crankseal prior to installation.
6. Apply 3-Bond¥ sealer to top half of
crankcase. Lubricate oil pump drive gear.
7. Install the upper case half.
8. Turn the crankcase over and torque the case
bolts in sequence illustrated in beginning of
chapter.
