800 EFI EXHAUST SYSTEM
Dual Exhaust Layout
The dual exhaust canisters on select Polaris 800 EFIs are powder
coated. To maintain the finish and prevent corrosion, periodic
maintenance is required. DO NOT use caustic chemicals to
clean, as they may damage the finish.
1. Wash any accumulated mud or debris from the canisters
with a soft brush and soapy water.
2. Use a non-caustic cleaner
to clean away any remaining
grime, salts or oils.
3. Polish if desired using a soft cloth.
4. Repeat this procedure as often as desired to maintain the
canister's finish.
NOTE: Silencer removal requires replacement of the
silencer grommets, item G, as they become
damaged during removal.
