2. Pull the harness assembly out from the headlight assembly.
3. Remove the lamp and replace with a new headlamp.
NOTE: Do not touch the new lamp with bare fingers.
Hold the plastic part (1) of the lamp. Oil from your
skin leaves a residue, causing a hot spot that will
shorten the life of the lamp.
4. Install the harness assembly into the headlight assembly.
Turn the headlight harness clockwise to secure the
headlamp into place.
Lower Headlamp Housing Removal (if required)
5. Remove the screw that secures the lower headlamp.
6. Pull the headlamp out of the locking tab.
Low Beam Headlight Adjustment
1. The low beam can be adjusted slightly upward or
downward.
2. Loosen the phillips screw located at the rear of the
headlamp.
3. Tilt the headlamp upward or downward.
4. Tighten the screw.
Headlamp Switch Test
1. Remove the headlight pod cover.
2. Set meter to DC Volts and probe the headlamp plug wires
(Brown and Yellow) at back of connector for 12 Volts.
3. Turn ignition and headlight on. If there is no power,
continue with checks to the harness and fuses.
