3 Troubleshooting
Introduction
This chapter lists fault messages and general symptoms, and provides
procedures for troubleshooting printer malfunctions.
You must operate the printer to check its performance and sometimes you
may have to reconfigure it. Always have the User’s Manual handy when you
troubleshoot because this manual does not cover printer operation or
configuration.
Troubleshooting Aids
Troubleshooting is faster and more effective if you understand the equipment
and make use of all available tools.
