Domain Settings
1. In NAS conguration: Account > Domain.
2. Check the Enable box to enable the Domain settings.
3. Choose the Domain Type and congure settings accordingly.
• Active Directory
i. Enter the Active Directory domain and domain DNS server (server IP), the NetBIOS name is
set automatically.
ii. Click the Next button.
iii. Select one domain controller.
iv. Enter the Administrator Account and Password.
v. Click the Apply button to join the domain.
AD domain uses default permission.
Use AD RAID storage GUI to set Permission or ACL.
To Enable a Domain
In NAS conguration: Account > Domain then click to check the Enable box button.
To Set a Workgroup
1. In NAS conguration: Account > Domain.
2. Enter a Workgroup Name.
3. Click the Save button.
To Refresh Domain Data
1. In NAS conguration: Account > Domain.
2. Click the Refresh Domain Data button.
