For Example:
The OmniSeed system controls granular products across the full implement width. When programming
granular sections, enter the full implement width for each granular section controlled with the air cart node.
Liquid products may be controlled in multiple sections across the implement width. When programming
liquid application sections, enter the measured section width for each liquid section on the implement.

3. Touch the “Left/Right” value and use the on-screen keyboard to enter the left or right offset of the section
from the center of the implement or drill. If the section offset is to the left of the implement or drill center line,
enter a negative value for the “Left/Right” value.
Note: When programming sections for control by the OmniSeed system, sections must be programmed
from left to right, based upon the section midpoints, on the implement or drill width. When
programming sections, be sure to start with the section centered furthest left on the implement. In
Figure 4 on page 60, the example liquid section has a midpoint furthest to the left and, therefore,
must be entered as “Boom Section 1.”
While programming sections for the OmniSeed system, be sure to keep record of sections settings
programmed on the Viper Pro. The programmed sections must be “mapped” to section switches
later in the programming process and it is critical for system performance to properly match
sections and control switches.
4. Touch the Next button and continue to set up section widths and offsets as necessary until all section widths
and offsets have been entered on the field computer.
5. On the last section setting screen, touch the Next button to display the Boom Setup Summary screen.
Review the section settings and ensure all sections have been programmed correctly before selecting the
Next button.
Proceed to the Mapping Granular Sections for Switch Box Controls section on page 61 to continue setting
up OmniSeed sections.
