Section Selection
The section settings and mapping procedures discussed earlier in this chapter have configured the section
widths and locations for each granular and liquid section controlled by the OmniSeed system. The final part of
section configuration on the OmniSeed system consists of populating how each of the configured sections and
available control channels will create coverage maps and affect coverage area and product volume totals.
Note: The Section Select screen will only display control channels and sections previously configured on
the OmniSeed system. Review the Re-Addressing Product Nodes section on page 30 and the
Section Setup section on page 53 to make changes to the products or sections available on the
Section Select screen.
The Section Select screen displays available products or control channels along the top of the screen and the
previously configured sections along the left side of the screen.
The section number displayed is the ‘Wired As’ value programmed during the Mapping Granular Sections for
Switch Box Controls section on page 61 and Mapping Liquid Sections for Switch Box Controls section on
page 64.
Note: If necessary, refer to the diagram you created for the implement or seed drill. Following the set up
recommendations and referring to an implement diagram will assist with populating the Section
Select screen. By default, the Section Select screen is configured with all products associated with
every configured section.
