Initial Set Up and Navigation
To set up the Section Select screen:
Note: It may be helpful to deselect all sections and products before beginning the following procedure.
For most OmniSeed systems, most sections will not be associated with each product on the
Section Select screen. To clear the screen, touch each of the displayed check marks to remove
them.
1. Locate the sections configured for the full width granular sections. Generally, these sections should be the
lowest section values on the screen. If multiple liquid control sections are configured, the granular sections
will be found in between the liquid sections.
2. To associate the granular products to individual sections, select one section per granular product. Usually,
the first granular product will be associated with the first granular section, second product with the second
section and so on.
For Example:
The examples in the previous sections covered an OmniSeed system configured to control 3 granular
product sections (full implement width) and 2 liquid products with 5 control sections each.
Since the air cart node must be configured on the CANbus network first, Products 1, 2 and 3 on the Section
Select screen are configured for the granular products controlled via the air cart node. In the previous
examples, the sections displayed as Section 1, 2 and 3 on the Section Select screen have been configured
for the granular product sections. Therefore, Product 1 should be associated only with Section 1, Product 2
only with Section 2 and Product 3 only with Section 3.
Thus, the Section Select screen should be configured as shown below.
