Install the ControlFLASH
Plus Software
ControlFLASH Plus or ControlFLASH™ software is required to update
firmware on the PanelView 5310 terminal. This software is included in the
Studio 5000® installation package.

Update the Firmware by
Using ControlFLASH Plus
Software
To use the ControlFLASH Plus software to update the firmware in a PanelView
5310 terminal, follow these steps.
1. Click Start>FLASH Programming Tools>ControlFLASH Plus.
2. To open the FactoryTalk Linx Network Browser, click the Network
Browse button.
3. Select your PanelView 5000 terminal, and click OK.
4. Select the firmware version to use in the Flash To column, make sure the
checkbox to the left of your PanelView 5000 terminal is selected, and then
press Next.
