Manage Certificates
The following sections describe what to do when you need to import or delete a
digital certificate. A digital certificate allows you to access locations on the
Internet that use HTTPS or WSS secured protocols. The certificates must have a
.cer, .crt, or .pem extension.
Import a Digital Certificate from Removable Media
To import a certificate from removable media, follow these steps:
1. Insert the USB storage device or SD Card containing the certificate files
into the HMI device.
2. Verify that the certificate files are in the root directory of the SD card or
the USB drive.
3. On the HMI device or in the System Banner, select Navigation and then
select Settings.
4. Select Certificates.
The Certificates popup opens.
5. Select Import.
