Configurable functions
M4000 Area 60
You can set the M4000 Area 60 multiple light beam safety device to two different
scanning ranges. The effective scanning range is dependent here upon the dimension of
the light path between sender and receiver and the number of additional front screens
used. You will find the necessary scanning ranges and the resulting setting in Tab. 10.
The following scanning ranges are available:
• low scanning range (0.5-6 m)
• high scanning range (5-19 m)

used. You will find the necessary scanning ranges and the resulting setting in Tab. 11.
The following scanning ranges are available:
• low scanning range (0.5-20 m)
• high scanning range (15-70 m)
