9.3 Setting up edge measurement
Setting up edge measurement

equisites:
All conditions for optimal object position, required minimum distances, object
transmission and transmission differences are fulfilled.
The MLG-2 is visible in SOPAS and in “Online” mode.
1. If necessary, make settings in the “Blanking” menu.
2. If necessary, make settings in the “Material teach-in” menu.
3. Run “Installation assistant” wizard.
4. If necessary, make other settings in the “Material teach-in” menu. In this case, run
“Material teach-in” again.
Edge measurement is set up. The result is on the “Start” and “Enhanced Sensing”
pages.

9.4 Parameterizing functions: Calculation of width and center positions
You can parameterize up to 10 functions. The following functions are possible:
