Updating the firmware
Check the COM port setting under '
before performing the firmware update.
1. Select 'Update' > 'Periphery update wizard'.
2. In the 'Password check' window, enter the password '12345678' and click on
the 'Next' button.
3. Select the 'Standard C-NET device' element in the 'Devices:' field.
a The connection with the floor repeater terminal is established.
a The latest firmware package and the latest firmware version are suggested.
4. Click on 'Next'.
5. Follow the instructions in the dialog and perform the update.
a The floor repeater terminal restarts.
6. Remove the MCL-USB adapter and lock the device.
a The firmware is updated.
Manually setting device to update mode
Proceed as follows if you are prompted to manually set the device to update mode
in step 3:
1. Keep the 'More alarms' (1) und 'Reset' (2) buttons pressed at the same time
and disconnect the C-NET plug (X1) from the printed circuit board.
2. Wait at least ten seconds and re-insert the C-NET plug (X1).
a The device is set to update mode.
