17.3 FN2012-A1 web interface
17.3.1 Commissioning a web interface
WARNING
Initial password not changed
The security of the web interface is not guaranteed if you do not change the initial
password. Network settings can be changed as a result of unauthorized access.
Changed network settings can cause the fire detection system to malfunction.
The web interface is blocked and can no longer be accessed if you do not change
the initial password within 7 operating days.
You will only be able to access the 'Password' tab in the web interface until the
initial password has been changed.
When you first access the web interface, change t
he initial login password.
Opening the web interface
w Standalone FN2012-A1: You have pre-configured an IP address for the
FN2012-A1 using the rotary switch.
w Integrated FN2012-A1: In Engineering Tool, you have configured an IP address
for the FN2012-A1 that is valid within the sub-net.
w The FN2012-A1 and the PC are connected to the same Ethernet sub-net.
w Where applicable, the PC is connected to the Ethernet sub-net via a GAP.
1. Open the Internet browser and enter the pre-configured IP address of the
FN2012-A1 in the address field.
a The login window opens.
2. Enter the default login data in the Login window to log on:
– User name = 'admin'
– Password = 'fs20admin'
3. Select the 'Password' tab and set a customer-specific password. Information:
You will only be able to access the 'Password' tab in the web interface until the
initial password has been changed.
4. Confirm the password you have set with 'Save changes'.
