Resetting a short-circuit on the Person Machine Interface
w A 'Short circuit' error is present on at least one 'C-NET' detector line.
w Required access level: 2.2
1. Open the path to the affected line card in the main menu on the 'PMI' display:
'Topology' > 'Hardware tree' > 'Station xx' > 'C-NET line card xx'
a The display shows the menu for the line card in question.
2. Highlight the affected line in the 'C-NET line card xx' menu.
3. Select the 'More options' function in the softkey bar.
a The display shows a list.
4. In the list, select the following: 'Execute commands' > 'Reset short circuit'
a The system closes all open line separators.
Information: If the short-circuit has not been rectified, the line separators will
immediately reopen.
Information: The 'Open line' message can still be displayed for some time even
if the short-circuit has been successfully reset. The message disappears when
the system no longer detects any open detector lines after several measuring
cycles.
