2.2.4 Product structure
The software package contains one AddOn DCC library, one AddOn FB library and two
application projects for STS and GSU cranes.
The DCC library comprises a collection of blocks that are implemented as DCC blocks. These
DCC blocks contain the complete Sway Control and TLS functionality. DCC is a representation
which supports graphic configuring and interconnection. You will find the detailed function
scope of the DCC library in Chapter AddOn DCC library (Page 37). The blocks are already
wired to each other and preconfigured in the application projects.
The FB library comprises a collection of blocks for the implementation of data exchange
between the higher-level control system and SIMOTION. These are implemented as function
blocks in "Structured Text" (ST).
The application projects contain a complete sequential control system for the specific crane
type (STS or GSU). The relevant configuration is implemented in the control system with the
AddOn for sway control.
