9.5.2 Activating the TLS functions
● Set the following parameters to activate the TLS functions with the hydraulic system:
– P240 = 1
– P320 = 0
– P321 = 0
9.5.3 Parameterization of the actual positions
The TLS system is internally designed for the millimeter unit. As the actual positions of the
cylinders are not always available in millimeters, they can be converted using parameters P241
to P244. The parameter is multiplied by the input value and must be set such that the actual
position in millimeters is calculated.
For cylinder A, for example: pos_cal_a [mm] = rpos_a * P241
The change in the actual positions can be checked on display screen 7 of SIMOCRANE
CeCOMM. You must ensure that the displayed values match the real position changes of the
cylinders.
The measurement of the actual positions of the cylinders must be sufficiently accurate. A
resolution of approximately 1 mm/increment has proven useful in practice.
Note
The real situation must always be checked when calculating the current positions (e.g. by
taking position measurements with a tape measure).
