SIMOCRANE CeCOMM commissioning and
diagnostic program

You can use the SIMOCRANE CeCOMM program for the following commissioning and
diagnostic tasks:
● Editing of parameter sets and performing commissioning (see Chapter Overview
(Page 283))
● Monitor functions for monitoring important data
● File manager function for exchanging parameter files, etc.
● Diagram function for recording signals and blocked regions
● Longtime trace with time stamp
● Integrated Primary Setup Tool for determining the communication addresses of the
connected nodes
● Readout of error messages (current messages and history of stored error messages)
● Tool for calculating the parameters for effective pendulum length
● Evaluation of logger data
● Additional functions, such as version information, calculation of position and speed
parameters
● Display of the target position list (TPL); (see Chapter Diagnostics (Page 200))
The program interface is supplied in German and English.
An overview is now provided of the most important functions of the SIMOCRANE CeCOMM
program.
8.1 Installing
The installation program for SIMOCRANE CeCOMM is stored on the DVD in the directory
Product/Software/CeCOMM. The program must be installed on the commissioning PC
(Windows). The software is installed by running the setup file.
Note
The program can be executed on WINDOWS 7 or higher. This requires that the user is logged
on to the PC as the administrator and is executing CeCOMM as administrator.
