Note
Sway control must be deactivated during commissioning steps 1 to 3. This is implemented
internally and temporarily triggers the error E61.
Setting the configuration and important parameters (commissioning step 0)
In this commissioning step, the following parameters are called automatically in succession.
Enter the correct settings.
Table 9-2 Adjustable parameters
No. Parameter Designation
1 P102 Configuration
2 P83 Upper limit for sway control
3 P84 Lower limit for sway control
4 P0 Maximum output velocity, trolley
5 P2 Prelimit switch velocity, trolley
6 P7 Acceleration without sway control / minimum acceleration
7 P6 Set acceleration, trolley
8 P5 Maximum acceleration, trolley
9 P1 Positioning velocity, trolley
10 P23 Minimum position for positioning, trolley
11 P28 Maximum position for positioning, trolley
12 P40 Maximum output velocity, hoist
13 P43 Prelimit switch velocity, hoist
14 P51 Set acceleration, hoist
15 P50 Maximum acceleration, hoist
16 P41 Positioning velocity, hoist
17 P63 Minimum position for positioning, hoist
18 P69 Maximum position for positioning, hoist
The maximum output velocity (P0, P40) is the maximum possible velocity. It influences the
amplitude of the oscillation model. Enter the settings precisely.
The positioning velocity (P1, P41) is the maximum possible velocity in the positioning (POS)
and semi-automatic (SAM) modes. Depending on control processes, the actual velocity can be
lower or higher, but never greater than the maximum output velocity.
The set acceleration (P6, P51) is the acceleration rate when no influence is exerted by the sway
control system. As the sway control causes an additional deceleration, it should be set larger
than the acceleration and deceleration that is actually required.
The maximum acceleration (P5, P50) limits the acceleration of the output velocity. It should be
set to the same or a smaller value than the converter acceleration limit.
When the prelimit switch signal is active, the prelimit switch velocity (P2, P43) in the relevant
direction of travel is not exceeded – also not through control processes of the sway control
system. For this reason, the elimination of swaying movements in the prelimit switch range
often takes longer.
