Oscillation test procedure
Proceed as follows:
Move the hoist into a low position and make a note of hoisting height h

Excite a skew oscillation and measure the oscillation frequency or the oscillation period
You can do this using a stopwatch or the diagnostic program SIMOCRANE CeCOMM (tab
"Effective pendulum length"), or by making a trace recording of the camera angle psi_cam.
These methods allow simultaneous recording of multiple oscillations, making it easy to
calculate the period per oscillation or oscillation frequency f.
