9.1.12 Ground-fault protection modules
Various trip units can be optionally equipped with ground-fault pro-
tection modules.
The ground fault protection of the module GFM AT 745-748 and the
ETU727
meet the conditions for „Groud fault protection for equip-
ment“ according UL 489, the calibration meets UL 1053.
If the current setting is exceeded, this causes an alarm or - at the
sa
me time - the tripping of the trip unit, depending on the version of
t
he ground-fault protection module.

9.1.12 Erdschlussschutzmodule
Für verschiedene Überstromauslöser stehen optional Erdschluss-
schutzmodule zur Verfügung.
Der Erdschlussschutz des Moduls GFM AT 745-748 und der
ETU7
27 erfüllt die Bedingungen „Erdschlussschutz für Anlagen“
nach UL 489, seine Kalibrierung entspricht der UL 1053.
Das Überschreiten des Einstellwertes führt je nach Ausführung des
Erds
chlussschutzmoduls nur zur Ausgabe einer Meldung oder
gleichzeitig auch zum Auslösen des Überstromauslösers.

VORSICHT CAUTION
Das Bemessungsstrommodul darf nur unter folgenden Bedingun-
gen gezogen werden:
- der Einschubschalter befindet sich in der Trennposition
oder
- der Überstromauslöser ist ausgebaut.
Remove rating plug only when the circuit breaker is in the open
position.
If the rating plug is removed with the circuit breaker is in the clo-
sed position, the trip unit can trip the circuit breaker unintentio-
nally.
