track. Select a target.
The GB40 identifies the target with a target number and a
green square to show that it's being acquired.
When the GB40 acquires the target, the symbol changes to a
blue circle to show that the target is being tracked. The GB40
shows the:
◦ range and bearing of the target
◦ a vector with the speed and course of the target.
The GB40 also calculates the closest point of approach and the
time to the closest point of approach.
The GB40 tracks the target to the maximum range of the radar
or until you cancel it, it is lost, or it moves out of range.
• When you are finished, select
Return.
