11.2 Alarms: Customize
You can customize the settings for some of the alarms.

To customize the alarms:
Select Alarms to show the alarm log.
Select
Edit Alarms from the main menu.
Use the up and down arrows to locate an alarm. (Buttons not
applicable to the selected feature are grayed-out.)
Select an alarm by clicking on and highlighting the row with the
appropriate alarm name in the Alarm Setup page.
Use the buttons in the control panel to the right side of the
page to change the settings for the selected alarm. (Buttons
not applicable to the selected feature are grayed-out.)
Alarm Settings

To switch an alarm On/Off:
The alarm button shows its current status as On or Off. Select
it to change the setting.

To set the trigger limits for the alarm:
Certain alarms are triggered by data readings that are outside
user-defined limits.
Select:
Set Upper to change the upper limit.
Set Lower to changes the lower limit.
The current setting is displayed in the status bar of the button.
To change the setting, click on the button to display the
Up/Down arrow keys then use these to specify the new setting.
Select
OK.

To switch the alarm audio On/Off:
Use this button to activate or turn Off the selected alarm.
You can set the audio to sound once, continuously, or not at all
for some alarms. Audible alarms will interrupt any other audio
playing through the GB40.
The Audible button displays the current setting. Select it
to change the setting.
