Local or global playback
Videos, DVDs, satellite television, camera feed, and normal
television channels can be played on your display unit ONLY by
using
Local Video and a USB connection to a compatible video
server.
Music, videos, DVDs, satellite television, camera feed, and normal
television channels can be played on any or ALL of the display
units on the GB40 network by using
Network Video and a
compatible video server and Ethernet Linker connected to the
GB40 network.

10.2 Entertainment: USB drives
You can use a portable USB drive to help manage your media files.
For example, you can:
• copy your favorite music to the GB40 so that it's always
available (whether or not you bring the USB drive).
• plug the USB drive into the GB40 then select
Use Portable
Drive to see and play any of the music that is on the GB40
and the USB drive.
Note: Any individual on the vessel can connect their own USB
drive to see their own music collection.
The Music Jukebox and the Video Jukebox will list any media files
on a USB drive that's connected to the GB40. When the USB drive
is removed from the GB40, the media files on the USB drive are no
longer listed in the Music Jukebox and the Video Jukebox.
