10.5 Entertainment: DVD/CD
You can use the DVD/CD options to:
• play a music CD
• select a particular track on the music CD
• play tracks randomly on the music CD
• repeat the music CD
• play a DVD in a pane
• play a DVD in full screen mode
• fast forward or rewind through a DVD
Note: You can't store DVDs in the video library unless they
have been converted into a suitable file format.
Note: Software restart is necessary after the installation of a
DVD/CD player.
Entertainment: DVD/CD - play a music CD

To play a music CD:
• Insert the music CD into the slot drive.
◦ The GB40 will play the music CD (unless another
Entertainment option with audio is already playing).
◦ If the music CD does not start to play, select Pages, then
DVD/CD then Play.
• If you want to display the tracks (listed as Track 1, Track 2,
and so on), select
Pages then DVD/CD.
Note: If you are playing music in a pane, the GB40 will
continue to play the music - even if the pane is not active or
not visible - until you pause the music or select another pane
that has audio.
Entertainment: DVD/CD - control play
Note: A DVD must be playing.

To pause play, fast forward, rewind, stop, or fill the
screen:
• If you want to:
◦ pause or resume play, select Pause/ Play.
◦ stop playing, select Stop.
