SONAR OPERATING PANEL
When the submenu for a menu button is selected, the parameters
can be changed in two different ways:
Refer to figure 36.
Using the increase/decrease function on the menu button for
moving the parameter pointer up or down in the submenu.
The submenu can then be closed by pressing on the centre of
the menu button.
Moving the cursor on to the new parameter in the submenu,
and press Select. The submenu can then be closed by pressing
the Close buttoninthesubmenufield.
Theparametervalueshowninthemenubuttonisoperableeven
without closing the submenu. This simplifies the testing of the
different parameters effect. Note that the transceiver related
parameters will first be in operation in the next ping.
The menu settings marked with an asterisk, indicates the normal
setting which perform well under normal conditions. If one got
lost in the menu settings, a Default S ettings function will bring up
these normal settings.
The sonar is equipped with a battery memory, which remembers
all selected menu settings, even if the sonar is switched off.
