When the test lung is squeezed
that a waveform appears in the waveform
window.When the pressure is released
from the test lung that the ventilator provides
support by helping reinflate the test lung.
Step 59: PSV functional test.
After 10 seconds that the ventilator delivers
a backup breath and the visual and audible
Apnoea alarm is triggered.
Step 62: SIMV functional test.
The ventilator cycles, the cycle waveform
appears in the waveform windows, after
1 minute the BPM total should read
30 BPM in the breath parameter window.
Step 63: SIMV functional test.
The ventilator delivers a synchronized breath.
Step 64: SIMV functional test.
The ventilator does not trigger on the 2 to 3
test lung initiated breaths before delivering
the next synchronized breath.
