1. If, in addition to the local (ethernet connected) pen and tablet in the console, your
system is fitted with an additional (serially connected) tablet, selection of either
interface may be made via macro keys. With Ethernet Pen selected, the serial
interface will be disabled. With Serial Pen active, the console tablet will be
inoperative; the computer keyboard, however, may still be used for on-screen
selections and data entry.
2. This function is useful when transferring audio from a DCTM machine to
DiskTrack, and prevents DiskTrack trying to follow speed fluctuations in the
machine. See the DiskTrack Operators Manual for more details.
