WARNING – EXPLOSION HAZARD:
WARNING – TRIPPING HAZARD:
WARNING – PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD:
Center tabletop over column before transferring patient on or off of table.
Table must not be used in the presence of flammable anesthetics.
Route the power cord to the receptacle to minimize being tripped over by personnel in the area.
Failure to keep the patient properly secured with the patient safety straps at all times could result in
death or serious injury.
The table is not to be used to transport patients. With exception of slight repositioning, as detailed in the
operating instructions, never disengage floor locks when patient is on table. Failure to heed this warning
can result in injury to both the patient and the operating room staff.
Keep hands and feet clear of the unloading platform and the table base when unloading the table.
Serious personal injury could result.
Healthcare professionals must ensure patients are positioned and monitored so as to prevent
compromising respiration, nerve pathways or circulation.
When installing any table accessory, check for correct attachment and tighten securely (if appropriate).
Do not use a worn or damaged accessory. Before using any accessory, ensure it has been installed
properly.
Patient must be secured to the table in accordance with recommended positioning practices.
Unanticipated patient or table movement could result in death or serious injury.
When cleaning/disinfecting table, do not use phenolics which may cause patient skin burns if
inadequately rinsed off, or alcohol, which does not have sufficient cleaning/disinfecting properties.
Do not exceed 350 lbs. (159 kg) on the leg section.
Dual-articulating headrest side rails support 100 ft-lbs. (135 N•m) maximum. The headrest end rail
supports 50 ft-lbs. (67 N•m) maximum. Exceeding these limits could result in injury or equipment
damage.
If the integrity of the external protective ground installation or arrangement is in doubt, operate the table
from its internal power source.
If an antistatic path is necessary, STERIS recommends antistatic pads (specifically developed for this
table) in direct contact with the patient. Table must also be positioned on antistatic floor or connected to
equalization device (equipotential connector).
