5.1 Warnings and Cautions
WARNING – PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD:
The table is not to be used to transport patients. With exception of slight repositioning, as
detailed in the operating instructions, never disengage floor locks when patient is on table.
Failure to heed this warning can result in injury to both the patient and the operating room
staff.
Healthcare professionals must ensure that patients are positioned and monitored so as to
prevent compromising respiration, nerve pathways or circulation.
Patient must be secured to the table in accordance with recommended positioning practices.
Unanticipated patient or table movement could result in death or serious injury.
If the integrity of the external protective earth conductor installation or arrangement is in
doubt, operate the table from its internal power source.
WARNING – PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE HAZARD:
Table is factory set to operate at a certain voltage. Use of any other power supply could result
in serious personal injury or table damage.
Use of this table in the presence of flammable anesthetics could result in serious personal
injury or table damage.
WARNING – PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE HAZARD: Placing a patient
whose weight exceeds maximum patient weight of the following can result in injury to the patient
and the operating room staff, and serious equipment damage.
1100 lbs. (499 kg) Load, Normal and Reverse Patient Position; raise or lower only (no tabletop
articulation or slide).
1000 lbs. (454 kg) Load, Normal and Reverse Patient Position; raise or lower; includes all
tabletop articulation except tabletop slide.
• 600 lbs. (272 kg) Load, Normal Patient Position; raise or lower; includes all tabletop articulation
and full tabletop slide, (also includes Reverse patient slide toward patient feet but not patient
slide toward patient head).
• 575 lbs. (260 kg) Load, Normal and Reverse Patient; raise or lower; includes all tabletop
articulation and full tabletop slide, including reverse patient slide toward patient feet and toward
patient head.
