4.14 Accessories/Side Rails
The standard STERIS permanently attached 3/8" wide x 1-1/8" tall (9.5 x 28.6 mm) side rails allow for the use of
many standard surgery table attachments and accessories. The rails consist of one rail mounted to each side of
each tabletop main section.
IMPORTANT: Regarding Side Rail Loading —
• Side Rail loading (with exception of Dual-Articulating Headrest rails) has been evaluated through cantilevered
testing to support 200 ft-lb (271 N•m) maximum. Any additional loading needs to consider table stability.
• Dual-articulating headrest side rails support 100 ft-lbs. (135 N•m) maximum. The headrest end rail supports
50 ft-lbs. (67 N•m) maximum.

appropriate). Do not use a worn or damaged accessory. Before using any accessory, ensure it has
been installed properly.
