SERVICE MANUAL MARINE ENGINES
01.05.06 Replace radial shaft seal of
camshaft
Preparation: Lock crankshaft, 01.00.01.
Remove timing belt.
Disassemble camshaft wheel.
1 Disassemble radial shaft seal.
2 Mount new radial shaft seal with special tool No.
VR00122/0.
NOTE: Radial shaft seal is waxed; therefore
needs not to be oiled.
Do not use grease on radial shaft lip
seal.
