SERVICE MANUAL MARINE ENGINES

01.01.10 Mount frame seal

Preparation: Disassemble engine housing,

01.06.01,

Disassemble crankshaft,

01.02.01,

1 Clean and degrease groove in cylinder block.

For engines with rubber frame seal (slot-variant)

(item 2-7)

2 Apply construction adhesive LOCTITE 262 on both

sides of first profile groove of frame seal.

3 Apply activator 764 to groove in the cylinder block.

4 Put frame seal from the bottom over the cylinder

block.

5 Bourrelet of frame seal profile must be placed at the

front (coolant pump) in the center of the side of

cylinder block..

Important for later assembly of engine housing.
