Component
Clicking the COMPONENT tab brings up the PIM COMPONENT CONFIGURATION page
(Figure 5-157). The parameters for this page are shown in Table 5-134.
Registration Stop
Rate Limiting Period
This parameter specifies the registration stop rate limiting period in seconds. It
should be between 0 and 2147483647. The default value is 5 seconds.
PMBR Status This parameter allows you to enable or disable the PMBR status in the switch.
Static RP This parameter allows you to enable or disable the Static RP in the switch.

Parameter Description
Component ID
This parameter specifies a number uniquely identifying the component. The
allowed value ranges between 1 and 255. The default value is 1.
Candidate CRP Hold
Time
This parameter specifies the hold time of the component when it is a candidate
RP in the local domain.
Mode This parameter specifies the mode of the component. It can be Sparse or Dense.
